Ben Affleck on his and Matt Damon's experiences as child actors
“I had been a child actor in a PBS series, and that launched me into trying to be an actor in the real world. Matt [Damon] and I auditioned for [italic]The Mickey Mouse Club[/italic]. We auditioned for the part of Robin in the first [italic]Batman[/italic]. We went up to New York and auditioned in situations that were a little sketchy and shady. A guy would say, ‘We’re not sure what we’re calling the movie yet. Why don’t you lie down?’ We were naive and young and left saying, ‘He seemed like a nice guy. I wonder if we’ll get it. I think my hand job was pretty good.’ ”

- Nice article. Keep scrolling down for a morbidly thin Matthew McBongo, at the peak of his decayed look for that PWA movie part (has he gained the weight back?)
- I wonder whether both Ben and Matt performed hand jobs.
- I wonder what "hand job" is a euphemism for?
- I heard they would do MMF threesomes to watch each other fuck, but not for professional reasons.
- Matthew McBongo looked horrid but what scared me more was John Hawkes. I wonder if he is surviving aids?
- I read that when they were poor, young actors living together they would watch porn together while masturbating. They were roommates with McBongo at some point also.
- I was Ben Affleck's stand-in for literally one day when he was about 16 on a movie called Atuk. It got shut down because Sam Kinison was caught shooting up in his trailer. I remember Affleck seemed sort of cocky but he must have been really nervous.

Playing the violin, Rose!!!

- McBongo is scary looking! I'm surprised he let that pic out into the public
- are these quotes for real?
I'm not kidding. most of them seem made up.
- Sure would be nice if we could lose the 1980's right wing, religious paranoia and quit with the "he's got AIDS!" or "he looks like he had AIDS!" nonsense. I imagine the pathetic posters who do this must be about 1 inch tall.
- R5, McBongo lost a lot of weight to play an AIDS patient.

Along with the "He's got facial wasting" troll. I figure that garbage is being posted here by guys who want all gay men to share in their pathetic stupidity and resultant illness.
- "Javier Bardem in Skyfall:
“The first movie I remember seeing is All That Jazz. My mother, who is an actress, took me. All That Jazz is pretty strong for a 5-, 6-year-old kid, but I loved it. There were naked women, which was nice. In Spain, we understand sex better than violence.”
Actors are so full of bullshit, aren't they? Born on March ’69, Bardem was at least 11, probably 12, when he saw ATJ for the first time, IF he saw it when it was first released in Spain in September ‘80. But then again, this “candid” anecdote makes him seem so sophisticatedly, decadently European, which is what his PR persona is all about, so job done, I guess.
- "I think my hand job was pretty good.”
Is he saying he GOT hand jobs or GAVE hand jobs? Either way I'm pretty sure he meant to say BLOW job...
- Imagine my disappointment when this article was not about Jennifer Garner:

- I doubt that Ben Affleck ever said any such thing. I don't doubt that he gave and received plenty of hand jobs and blowjobs, but I just don't believe that he would say it out loud.
- Someone tweet him for details about these 'handjobs'. I would, but I'm not on the Twitter...
