What's wrong with my computer?

It shuts down by itself a number of times. I just searched Adele in one tab while viewing the DL in another tab and then when I went back to the adele tab, the following was typed into google search: LWH HIMIIHD EIJIJI I didn't type this. I've been noticing a lot especially when I use google search. I'll enter one thing into google search and another thing which I didn't type will show up. What's wrong with my computer?

• In addition to a virus scan do a malware scan. If you have malware you may need to format your hard drive. If you don't find a virus or malware you may need to replace your battery or power source if it is shutting down on its own. But it sounds like a redirect virus and even if you think you've fixed it, it's never really gone. So it's worth the effort to format and reload your operating system.

• I have my own question. Last night my computer started to smell like burning plastic. When I looked inside everything seemed fine. What parts should I look at to see where the problem is? I tried sniffing around but everything smelled like burnt plastic.

• Google the anti-malware free program, Malawarebytes. Put it on your desktop. Run it and see if you have malware. This is a good reliable program and was reviewed by cnet dot com.

• OP does it overheat? Check temperatures with HWMonitor.

• Yes R23 Some viruses or malware will do this. The operating program will shut down and the computer will turn off and/or reboot.
