Do you ever set boundaries with your friends?
The gay men on this forum makes so much fun of lesbians for doing this, but I wondered if any of the gay men actually do this yourself to some extent--or if your philosophy is that with true friends, there should be no boundaries of any kind: any criticism from them (or from you) has to be acceptable, and any behavior has to be acceptable.

- Yes, but small and specific boundaries.
Like the friend who lives in the heart of the city without a car, and who asks for a lot of rides. Of course he's welcome to rides under most circumstances, but he's asked me to come hours out of my way, so he can get to the most ordinary things. I've said "no", and said why.
- I have stated my boundaries.
- Everyone has boundaries. Lesbians are just more vocal and explicit about letting you know what theirs are.
- No boundaries? Even they steal from you? Or verbally and physically abuse you?
