Do you think Cher and M stay in touch?

Do they email, text, talk on the phone? I would love to know.

• She's dyslexic and can't read to save her life. So I send her photos of my Oscars. Also, I call and talk to her using her voice, which confuses her. No, I don't forget what she did. And she knows it.

• Cher speaks to her twitter followers so she must speak to her actual friends.

• I understand why Cher would want to cut Meryl off - M hogs 99% of the film roles for any woman over 50. The only role Cher can get is in something like "Burlesque" - kitsch, cliché and third-rate. It's not fair.

• Cher could play any role of Meryl's - Clarissa in The Hours? You bet. The mom in Mama Mia? Certainly. Those crappy Nancy Myers films? Yes. Cher is always up for a challenge but Meryl seems to win parts as easily as farting in her sleep.

• What R13 said. All over 60 actresses should give Meryl the cold shoulder in retaliation.

• Meryl wanted that Lori Davis hair infomercial BAD. They never spoke again.

• Sally Field had some bitchy comments about Meryl years ago about her hogging up all the roles.

• Cher was aked to be in Mamma Mia with Meryl but she had to turn it down because she was touring.
