I've never been there, so I have no idea of the differences among the major cities. Oscar Psistorius was arrested at his home in Pretoria: is that a nicer city than the other capitals, Johannesberg and Capetown? What are the three cities like in terms of culture, commerce, population, niceness, etc.? (Also Durbin, which is the other large city.)
Cape Town is like Miami Beach with a mountain, which blocks out the awful poverty on the other side of it.
Pretoria is quite beautiful, but it has less class segregation than Jo-burg, Durban, and Cape Town.
I love Port Elizabeth!! The beaches are divine!!
Is Jo-Burg the most poverty stricken of the major South African cities? I know it is the largest.
and is Capetown the biggest resort city of the major cities?
Which is the biggest tourist destination among them and why?
