Russell Crowe in THE INSIDER, Richard Farnsworth in THE STRAIGHT STORY, Sean Penn in SWEET AND LOW DOWN, Kevin Spacey in AMERICAN BEAUTY, and Denzel Washington in THE HURRICANE.
Four of the greatest actors of this generation (Crowe, Penn, Spacey, and Washington) and one of the best character actors of his generation (Farnsworth).
And, Kevin Spacey won the Best Actor Oscar.
