2/13/13 1:40 PM EST It's official: Fox News has hired former Republican Sen. Scott Brown as a contributor. Brown, who will be a contributor across the network's programming, debuts tonight on Sean Hannity's program. As previously reported by POLITICO, the former Senator had been in talks with the network since announcing that he would not run for the Massachusetts seat vacated by John Kerry. “Senator Brown’s dedication to out-of-the box thinking on key issues makes him an important voice in the country and we are looking forward to his contributions across all Fox News platforms," Bill Shine, the network's executive vice president of programming, said in a statement. “I am looking forward to commenting on the issues of the day and challenging our elected officials to put our country's needs first instead of their own partisan interests," Brown said.
