Why do people think average looking guys are hot?

A lot of people find Brad Pitt excruciatingly good-looking and Heath Ledger not so much. Today I google imaged both and cannot believe it. They look pretty much same with Heath Ledger being slightly better looking. I've attached a pic of Heath Ledger, look at it and tell me that he's not as good looking as Brad Pitt.

• I didn't like Heath Ledger in his role as "Joker".

• Brad Pitt was quite good-looking when he was young, while Ledger was really pretty average in looks. Pitt hasn't aged well, to put it politely, he looks haggard and unhappy these days. Anyone who calls him "handsome" these days is deluded.

• I make my poopie into Heath Ledger piles and then I eat them all up because he is such a tasty dead Australian. Yum. I think I'll start ten more threads on the topic until my keyboard starts sticking from the Heathcrap on my fingers.

• I have always preferred "average" guys to "hot guys" or "pretty boys". Average is a massive turn-on for me. Most of the super hot looking guys I dated were far more trouble than they were worth.
