I like it. It's kinda awful, but there are hints of Leigh Bowery, Shirley Bassey, and Divine in that look. She also has Elizabethan skin and should wear a ruff.

The color is great. The cut is great. It's the flower pattern on it that takes it into Grandma's curtains territory. Had she done that color/cut with a different texture, it would have been fine.

Many of us have great difficulty hiding the fact that deep down we want to be a cartoon character, hell, where would Comic-con be without us. Adele is simply one of us. Too bad she had to act out at a back slapping-self awards show. No matter, I love the girl and she could appear naked with all her goose bumps showing and I would still love her. It's not what she wears that makes her loved or great.

I love everything - gorgeous, but the way the waist-to-bottom of the dress falls.
It's one of those dresses that are so wrong it's good. I think she pulls it off.

She irritates me for some reason. Her singing voice is ok but it's not amazing. She can't dance or put on a performance so all she has is that boring singing voice. Her speaking voice is cring-worthy and trashy. The dress suits her, tacky and nasty.

Adele's idol is Peggy Lee. Most of us on DL are too young to know who Peggy Lee was. She was an American singer much in the style of Adele. Actually, Adele is much in the style of Peggy Lee. I loved Peggy Lee's style of singing and that automatically caught my attention the first time I heard Adele.
Adele could leave music and never look back. Her previous career as a grand piano leg model could be revived in a heart beat. Steinway, Baldwin, Yamaha and many other piano manufacturers have never recovered from her segue way into pop music.
