Things I have noticed about society

Every country no matter how rich will have a small group of people who's rich and a small group of people who are poor. Why is that? It's almost like the ying and yang concept. There must be rich and poor people no matter what. Why do you think that is?

• In my country the population split is 1% rich, 10% middle class and the rest are dirt poor. One thing I have noticed is that the so-called poor in America who live in trailers filled with every kind of appliance and have two or more cars would be considered middle class in most other countries.

• Agree, R7. I'm American and my family were considered at the poverty level. We still managed to have two computers, a wardrobe full of clothes for every member of the household, major appliances, air conditioning, internet connection etc.

• Well, OP may sound innocent, but it doesn't have to be this way. It is totally artificial, just like everything else in society. It's that way because society is made that way, OP. And there are more poor people than you think.
