Spring is here, spring is here! Life is skittles, life is beer!

Okay, spring isn't exactly HERE, but the almond tree outside my apartment put out its first flower of the year. It's close, everyone.

• I just needed to report that the legend is true. The first thing I did today was remove my eggs from the carton and was amazed that the axis of the earth is tilted precisely so that they are able to stand upright on their own. Nature is such a miracle. My partner was totally freaked, like I was a witch or something.

• Coincidentally,today`s been the first really spring-like day this year here too.
