A question for servers

Does your establishment make you pool your tips? If so, do you like that policy? I've heard that if one server is slacking off, the other servers will put pressure on him or her to do better so they all don't get screwed, but it strikes me as unfair to truly superior servers who might make more money if tips weren't pooled.
