MeTV is airing the classic "pig people" episode of "The Twilight Zone" RIGHT NOW!
These episodes that comment on society are among the best. Rod Serling was a genius.
- I saw that when I was a kid and it completely freaked me out. That is truly the most terrified I have ever been by a film or video.
- What disturbed me most about that episode wasn't that normal people looked like pigs but the whole Orwellian aspect of their society. That was way freakier.
- So terrifying that OP refuses to refer to it by its actual NAME!!!!
B. Holder
- EYE OF THE BEHOLDER.
There, Mr. Pissy, are you happy now?
- I AM NEVER HAPPY!!!
Mr. Pissy
- Life is a challenge when you are the unsightly one.
Marilyn%20Munster
- R1 Me, too! That's the scariest thing I remember from my childhood. I'm 60, but I probably had nightmares about it for at least 30 years.
And no one has mentioned the lovely Donna Douglas (Elly May Clampett) as "the ugly one." Apparently either her acting or her accent was so bad that they had to dub her.
- Can one cook pig people? Are they the other white meat?
- Is this where "Seinfeld" got the idea?
- as a kid this was the scariest thing ever
- A totalitarian society of pig people. Sounds like the Bush Administration.
