I like the dress, aside from the fact that most of the photos picked up too much reflection from the crystals. It looks good on her. The accompanying article was interesting. I had no idea she has been involved in so many recent projects. Good for her.

The dress is hideous. But then she never really looks good in anything. She's not attractive at all! Plain, at best. It's hard to believe she's won two Oscars. I don't think she's even considered that good an actress. She won two Oscars for playing the SAME character: a mannish, white trash girl. Since her background is trailer-park trash and she seems very dykey, I don't think either role was much of an acting stretch for her.

Gina Lollabridgida looks amazing. Also Tiny. I forgot she was still alive. Everyone is so obssessed with Sophia Loren, but Gina was a hot sassy momma. Just not as well known. Hilary Swank's dress must not photograph well, because I thought it wasn't very nice. She was at a frickin' Viennese Ball. In London. She should have looked less "OScar" and more formal in the European version of formal.

I'm no Swank fan. The only film of hers I've seen is the laughably bad and not in a good way "The Back Dahlia." Still, although usually I don't care for the illusion of nude thing, this gown is an exception. It is gorgeous, OP, and perfect for the occasion.
