Gay Popular Culture 2013

What in the popular culture is particularly popular at this moment in time? I'm well aware of people and things of the past, but what and who is currently very popular with gays? It don't necessarily mean MASSIVELY popular. It can be cultish. For example, I was reading some NY mag blog writer and the woman writing it said they run Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills in the gay bars...which I guess makes sense, but I had no idea. Do all the Real Housewives shows have a big gay following? Any other TV shows? I know about Anderson Cooper but always think it's a DL thing? Am I right?
