Is The Current Presidential Administration Behind Web Site Design?

Did Obama set up his own design team? It seems that every time there's a new administration, the web site gets an overhaul. Is that how it works? It has similar design to his personal web site. Just curious.

• OP, think about it. [italic]Of course [/italic] each Administration is responsible for their [italic]own [/italic]website. What you think the Bush Admin is still running the damned thing? It's a major PR tool when done right. The Obama Administration has been pretty smart in selling their site as a public "connection" tool. They're also using open source CMS software for theirs (Drupal) and are the first to ever do so. They're ahead of the curve in a lot of things.

• r2, isn't the official White House web site suppose to be non-partisan? I thought perhaps a non-partisan arm of the government is responsible for the technical communication side of things. You obviously have no official confirmation either way.
