All of the puppies participating in the Puppy Bowl are available for adoption. Go to the Animal Planet website to adopt one of these little football players.
I need to fuck that hottie ref. He's just begging for it.
Puppehs! Adorbs!
Love those bitches ......and the boy puppies too.
Marta is definitely getting MVP this year. Meepthebird's tweets say #Marta is trending. What a tough little beeatch!

Marta had a terrible fumble before her TD, though. I'm not impressed.
Anyway, the Kitten Halftime Spectacular is the important part.
They're beginning to ruin it with the over-use of the product shilling and the shelter pups.
Yeah, I love shelter dogs and adopt them, but come on. Some 10lb pit bull/lab mix may be cute, but it's not puppy bowl cute.
What happened to the little wobbly-legged pugs and the bouncy baby labs and the teeny tiny yorkies?!? Why did they have to go and fuck it up?
Kitty: "Yuck, this water smells like dog."
Catahoula puppies > pugs, labs, or Yorkies.
the ref is packing.
Totes adorbs R6!
"it's the puppy bowl, not the poopy bowl!"
I hope the poster who was asking about hedgehogs got to see how engaging and intelligent and active they can be as puppy bowl cheerleaders.
I love the hamsters in the blimp.
That Tuck has baby-humper written all over him.
Grow up.
It's cute for a few minutes and then it gets pretty boring.
It's adorable! It put me in a good mood.
The husky is too cute for words.
The kitty halftime was hilarious.
When the Puppy Bowl began years ago, didn't it have sets of puppies in different stages of age? i.e. 8 week old puppies, then the next segment was 12 weeks? I recall watching fur ball baby puppies playing then switching the channel when the older pups came on.
I always look forward to the puppy bowl.
They all look so yummy.

I love Puppy Bowl!
It's really lost it's cuteness with all the shelter dogs. Yeah, I know I know. But still.
It used to be actual puppies, like a few weeks old. They would have some mix breeds and shelters in there but also a lot of full breed pupps as well.
Now it's all about trying to squeeze in more and more animals, the whole kitten thing is tiresome, hedgehogs (which are adorable but, really?!), and 10-12 lb shelter dogs including the omnipresent pit bull mixes.
Very little about it was adorable and fun and smile worthy this year when compared to years past.
Why does political correctness and crass commercialism have to ruin everything??
R26
You are incorrect. The Puppy Bowl has always involved Shelter and Rescue dogs exclusively. I am with a rescue group based in Northern Virginia, and one of our guys was in the very first Puppy Bowl. In that first Bowl, the producers called around to DC-area shelters and rescue groups to bring a well-socialized puppy to the Animal Planet studio in Fairfax, VA for an afternoon taping in December. They had about a dozen dogs for that first event.
Now the Bowl involves shelter and rescue dogs from all over the East Coast.
Have you been to a shelter recently? There are many purebred dogs there too.
R27, I hadn't realized it was always exclusively shelter dogs. Good on them.
I have two dogs, one is a purebred pug but both are from shelters.
That being said, something still felt and looked different. The puppies are larger and frankly, not quite as fluffy and cute as in years past.
But I'll stop being a scrooge now. Puppies are puppies and they were all really sweet.

The ref is Dan Schachner, who is a former host of HGTV's "Curb Appeal."
And just WHERE in the fuck were the PUGS and other teeny weeny adorable puppies?!?
r32 these dogs are shelter and rescue dogs. You're not likely to see pugs as their births are usually planned and homes lined up. They're very expensive. You see, many pugs need a C-section to be delivered. Their heads are too big for natural delivery.
"You see, many pugs need a C-section to be delivered. Their heads are too big for natural delivery."
That's what's going to happen to the pug-like Jeremy Renner's baby.
The ref is hot!
I hate that they had to ruin it by having APL characters scream and comment during the segments. Is this a new feature?
[quote]It used to be actual puppies, like a few weeks old.
How long have you been a puppy?
"Penalty! Excessive tail biting!"
How many times have I heard THAT before...
LOL!
I can only remember watching Puppy Bowl 6, 7, 8, and 9. I don't remember Animal Planet celebrities doing shout outs in previous Puppy Bowls. It didn't work. Animal Planet needs to focus on the animals. I just looked at old Puppy Bowls and an earlier poster was correct. The puppies were younger in earlier Puppy Bowls. The show is filmed in October. Most of the puppies are already adopted before the show airs.
I wanted to adopt the husky pup, but he was already taken. I didn't know that Puppy Bowl was filmed in advance.
So cute!

Not unlike the Super Bowl. Except that the Puppy Bowl players remain adorable after the game.
