Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Christopher Walken....it's gotten decent reviews. Anyone?
I saw it and couldn't get past the bizarre casting. I didn't think any of them were believable as musicians and I'm a fan of Walken, PSH and Catherine Keener.
I saw it and liked it very much. Beautifully acted.
Ended up going. I have a high tolerance for pretension, but I found it SO pretentiou that I was completely uninvolved.
I was shocked how overlooked it was for movie awards season, especially considering the caliber of the talent involved.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman deserves an Oscar nomination for his work in this movie -- NOT 'THE MASTER."
Catherine Keener should have a Best Supporting Actress nomination before Jacki Weaver or Amy Adams.
LATE QUARTET is a brilliant, underappreciated gem.
