If women are born with all their eggs, then that means technically I've been alive since 1953 (when my mom was born), not 1980 (when I was born). Mind BLOWN!
I think I'd take the word "deep" out of your headline.
Op: You're no Jack Handy.

Since I doubt your mother was born with her eggs fertilized, I think you can still count from 1980.
The Voice of the Night
I've been alive forever and I wrote the very first song.
But an egg is a living cell, R3. And it eventually became me. So one of my cells has been alive since 1953.
Plus the cell your Mom was born from was alive when her mother was born. Hell, we are all as old as the first human.
Are you by any chance VERY stoned right now?
The Voice of the Night
And then, what about your mother's mother? Omg, then her mother and her mother and her mother...omg EVE you are related to EVE!
Op stfu LOL
Then your mom is a murderer for not bringing all those eggs to fruition.
Jesus says life begins at conception
OP, curious as to your general beliefs. I mean it.
That's actually an amazing thought. I'm an eldergay, and the gamete that became 1/2 of me has been alive since 1927. I've lived through the Depression, and I didn't even know it!
Fractals! Or something.
It is a little bit mind blowing isnt it OP, that you were an ovum in 1953? I've been one since 1945. Although I wouldn't go quite so far as to say you were "alive".
Now OP consider the how many eggs your mother had and the likelihood that you, of all of them, was fertilized in 1980. If your mother had said to your dad the day you were conceived "oh not tonight dear I have a headache" you wouldn't exist.
You were only half alive because you weren't even sperm yet until your father produced it from his body.
Why would you want to make yourself older? Stick with '80.
Has anyone pointed out yet that the mother's ova weren't fertilized yet? I bet I'm the very first to point that out.
I too was born in 1980.
R21=still not alive.
In a related question, if all your body's cells die every seven years, how are memories preserved? Does that mean if you don't use a memory in seven years it will be lost? How mechanically does it work?
Believing you come from an egg is an heathen belief. It is not true. Eggs were a heathen fertility thing before we were informed by the Bibble that we come from heaven in breath of God. God does all the heavy breathing necessary to create life.
What if the egg is fertilized and frozen and then not implanted until say 10yrs later you could maybe think that? But probably not.
R24, Perhaps memories can be shifted around like files on a hard drive. And since not all of your cells die off at the same time, this allows them to remain intact over time. But you just made me think of yet another question: If it's true that our body's cells die and are entirely replaced every seven years, and brain cells supposedly don't regenerate, then shouldn't we all be brain dead after seven years?
Pssst, R25. Don't tell the fundamentalists.
Actually, brain cells CAN regenerate via lion's mane mushroom. Mushrooms are the closest cellularly to humans, and why they can be especially healing. There has been international research (IOW not American) showing lion's mane not only stopping Alzheimer's progression, but reversing it. Too bad you can't trademark a mushroom, or it would already be an available medical option. You can buy lion's mane pills, though.
[quote]How mechanically does it work?
For starters, it's not mechanical.
I actually was born long before my birth date too. I have millions of brothers and sisters. You can tell we are all related because we are all good swimmers and have a tail.
OP, I'm you exact same Ovum Age! We should totes celebrachio together!
Unfortunately my dad murdered 100s of millions of my sibings before me. I blame Play Boy.
And here's another way to look at it: we are not simply flesh, bodies, or matter. We are spirit animating bodies. When your parts were only cells inside your mother, your spirit/soul/whatever-word-you-like-to-use-here was not there yet. Without the animation of matter, your individual life does not exist.
Your cells wouldn't even be able to talk, or bottom, or anything, without YOU being in there.
R36, I like how that rolls off your tough so easily, "wouldn't even be able to talk, or bottom, or anything" LOL
