Japanese food

l've started learning more about it and really love it. The simplicity is lovely, and the pickling found in many dishes is new to me. I've always loved sushi, but the rest of Japanese cuisine also has a special appeal. I think that it and the Mediterranean diets must be the healthiest ethnic cuisines there are. I'm starting to make bento boxes. Great for portion control, and so kawaii when decorated. Any favorite Japanese dishes, cookbooks, or (LA) restaurants?

We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
