- So sad. What happened to his well-to-do father, the retired Virginia Supreme Court judge? Surely George's influential and weathy father can continue to help his violent, racist son?
- Throw away the key.
- You'd think the NRA would give him a big reward.
- [quote]“Our goal is to raise $30,000 per month. This represents the minimum we calculate we need to conduct the defense George deserves, and this figure does not include any attorney's fees.”
Hilarious. George deserves the same defense as Saddam Hussein.
- Funny how he kind of disappeared.
- Yeah the story disappeared because the pictures of his bashed up face were released and people said "oh wait a minute, maybe we shouldn't rush to judgement" I know i did.
- Here's the back of his head.

- Maybe this is a case for Jose Baez. It looks as if he wasn't paid a damn thing for representing Casey Anthony.
I'm sure he'll do it out of the goodness of his heart.
- Here's the front. Stop rushing to judgements.

- r9 it's judgment, dude. No "e."
It would be nice to hear Trayvon's version of the story. Too bad he's busy being dead.
- R9, if those photos are accurate, which remains highly questionable, is it not possible that a struggle ensued between an innocent teenager and a racist gun toting stalker who decided to pursue this kid for no reason? Would you not be struggling for your life if this asshole decided to pull a gun on you for going to your father's house? Idiot.
- Well, 1/3 of the original 300k of donations went to pay his bail bond, so he should be getting that back.
Why doesn't he just use the public defender?
- He should have never been charged in the first place.
- he was a civilian who chose to pursue another civilian for no good reason, even though he was warned by law enforcement not to do it, and then he killed the kid. didn't bloody his nose, didn't give him a scrape to the back of the head, KILLED HIM DEAD.
- He targeted, followed, and murdered an unarmed kid just because he was black. Of course he should have been charged.
What are you ridiculous racist freepers doing on a gay gossip forum anyway? Are you lost?
- He was just defending himself, that kid was a hoodlum.
- One thing the defense has not been able to explain is what would Trayvon Martin's motivations be for allegedly "attacking" Zimmerman out of the blue and unprovoked after buying some Skittles. It doesn't make any sense.
Also, it's cute that the memo now is that any wounds Zimmerman may have sustained during the altercation are evidence of anything. When an attacker violently attacks a person, are any injuries the attacker receives from the victim defending him or her self evidence of anything? No.
What we do know is that Zimmerman had no legal authority to stop or question Trayvon; Zimmerman stalked Trayvon; he disobeyed direct orders not to approach him; Zimmerman had a weapon whereas Trayvon was unarmed; and the only witness who can discredit Zimmerman's account of the situation is conveniently dead.
If some bozo with a gun stopped me on the street and I felt I was in a life or death situation, I would have done more than bloody up Zimmerman's head. The Stand Your Ground law would most definitely be in TRAYVON'S favor and NOT Zimmerman's.
- Even if that kid was a hoodlum, usual procedure is not to chase after gang members. Not going to end good. Just sayin.
- So what if he was a hoodlum? That night he was just minding his own business walking and talking to his gf on the phone. It was late and Trayvon was concerned enough he told his gf someone was following him.
What would you do r16? Someone is following you. You don't know if he's armed. You don't know if he's about to rob you. You're not armed so the only way you can defend yourself is with your fist. That's all he had: his fist.
Zimmermann had the upperhand. He had a gun.
- This whole case has been so obfuscated by the defense and the "stand your ground" supporters. Take away race. Take away Trayvon's background. Take away the gun issue. All you have left is a teen walking home late at night and minding his own business when he is followed and stalked by a stranger. A stranger who did not identify himself. A confrontation occurred and the stalker with gun kills the unarmed teen.
It's as simple as that. Bring in race, guns and a controversial law and everything becomes a circus.
- A grown man with a gun stalked and shot dead a teenage boy carrying skittles and ice tea going to his dad's girl friend's house to watch a basketball game. Maybe it's me but I don't think any kid should be hunted down and slaughtered for no reason other than he has more melatonin in his skin, the sight of which terrified the grown man so much he simply had to slaughter the kid. The teenage boy is dead. The only criminal, a homicidal maniac, is the grown man. The homicidal maniac needs to be behind bars.
- Don't forget the guy with the gun has already been caught lying to the Jude in a court of law. He had two identical passports. You have to surrender it when you go to jail. Gee, you think Zimmerman had a plan B?
Innocent people don't scam the judge and plan for an illegal exit to another country.
- R20, Well said! Also, I've seen plenty of teenagers wearing hoodies and sagging jeans, guess what....I manage to NOT stalk, engage and ultimately kill them.
- [quote]“Our goal is to raise $30,000 per month. This represents the minimum we calculate we need to conduct the defense George deserves, and this figure does not include any attorney's fees.”
What does this mean? Does the $30K go towards investigators, expert witnesses, etc.? Per month? His and his wife's living expenses?
- "if those photos are accurate, which remains highly questionable, is it not possible that a struggle ensued between an innocent teenager and a racist gun toting stalker who decided to pursue this kid for no reason? Would you not be struggling for your life if this asshole decided to pull a gun on you for going to your father's house? Idiot."
What is "highly questionable" about those photos, dumbass? They show a guy who has obviously been beaten bloody.
You weren't there. You don't know what happened. So your theory about a crazed racist who decided he would go out and stalk and kill an "innocent" teenager is just your fertile imagination at work.
- Its obvious that Zimmerman was a crazed neighborhood vigilante. He had no business chasing down people on the sidewalk, and frankly, if Zimmerman weren't a mentally ill nut job with a gun, this would have never happened.

Were you there? Did you see what happened? No? Well, then you should shut the fuck up, you ignorant ass.
Apparently there are some whack jobs who believe themselves to possess psychic powers that enabled to know exactly what George Zimmerman was thinking and doing and feeling
when he encountered Trayvon Martin. They need to get help. They're probably schizophrenic.
- Finally read the article.
[quote]Household/living expenses - $61,747.54
For 10 months? All righty. Is the idea now that one can murder in order to make a living?
- Not only a murderer, a scammer!
Republican't wet dream! One of them.
- I don't care if Trayvon Martin was the thuggiest thug who ever thugged.
Unless he had a gun, George Zimmerman had no reason whatsoever to shoot him, and he should stay in prison as long as Trayvon Martin stays dead.
- People who run away are trying to avoid a confrontation. People who pursue are looking for a confrontation. We have, on tape, Zimmerman telling the police dispatch that he lost sight of Martin when the boy ran away from him. Zimmerman then went after him. Zimmerman was looking for a confrontation. It really cant be any more simple than that.
- “Our goal is to raise $30,000 per month. This represents the minimum we calculate we need to conduct the defense George deserves, and this figure does not include any attorney's fees.”
That's just for the hookers and blow.
- This incident happened less than a year ago.
The numbers from Zimmerman's own lawyer say that Zimmerman's household/living expenses in that time have been $61,747.54.
Ask a Freeper why he doesn't just get a job.
- It's the media that needs to pay for the slanderous hatchet job they did on Zimmerman.
And you should all be boiled in oil for going along with it.
- This Hispanic is a hero

Well, we thank the Lord Jesus Christ that he has received monies for his efforts this year. Praise be to Jesus for such an underachiever as George Zimmerman to clear $61,747.54 for his household expenses in the ten months since his unfortunate weapons discharge. What a cunt!
