• One thing the defense has not been able to explain is what would Trayvon Martin's motivations be for allegedly "attacking" Zimmerman out of the blue and unprovoked after buying some Skittles. It doesn't make any sense. Also, it's cute that the memo now is that any wounds Zimmerman may have sustained during the altercation are evidence of anything. When an attacker violently attacks a person, are any injuries the attacker receives from the victim defending him or her self evidence of anything? No. What we do know is that Zimmerman had no legal authority to stop or question Trayvon; Zimmerman stalked Trayvon; he disobeyed direct orders not to approach him; Zimmerman had a weapon whereas Trayvon was unarmed; and the only witness who can discredit Zimmerman's account of the situation is conveniently dead. If some bozo with a gun stopped me on the street and I felt I was in a life or death situation, I would have done more than bloody up Zimmerman's head. The Stand Your Ground law would most definitely be in TRAYVON'S favor and NOT Zimmerman's.

• Even if that kid was a hoodlum, usual procedure is not to chase after gang members. Not going to end good. Just sayin.

• So what if he was a hoodlum? That night he was just minding his own business walking and talking to his gf on the phone. It was late and Trayvon was concerned enough he told his gf someone was following him. What would you do r16? Someone is following you. You don't know if he's armed. You don't know if he's about to rob you. You're not armed so the only way you can defend yourself is with your fist. That's all he had: his fist. Zimmermann had the upperhand. He had a gun.

• This whole case has been so obfuscated by the defense and the "stand your ground" supporters. Take away race. Take away Trayvon's background. Take away the gun issue. All you have left is a teen walking home late at night and minding his own business when he is followed and stalked by a stranger. A stranger who did not identify himself. A confrontation occurred and the stalker with gun kills the unarmed teen. It's as simple as that. Bring in race, guns and a controversial law and everything becomes a circus.

• A grown man with a gun stalked and shot dead a teenage boy carrying skittles and ice tea going to his dad's girl friend's house to watch a basketball game. Maybe it's me but I don't think any kid should be hunted down and slaughtered for no reason other than he has more melatonin in his skin, the sight of which terrified the grown man so much he simply had to slaughter the kid. The teenage boy is dead. The only criminal, a homicidal maniac, is the grown man. The homicidal maniac needs to be behind bars.
