Excuse a joke in bad taste, but watching this morning’s Senate Judiciary hearing on US gun control was, well, enough to make you want to shoot yourself.
The third-rate quality of the witnesses and the sheer black, comic absurdity of the "debate" was beyond parody, and you don’t even need to quote the NRA’s Count Dracula CEO, Wayne La Pierre, to get the point....
Depressing thereafter.
That at least the opening of the Senate hearings was a line up of rubbish that would be laughable if it weren't so tragic.

Why did Clinton's ban on assault rifles have a ten year limit? Why weren't they just banned for good?
R7, that's probably the best the Clinton Administration could get in 1994. At least they did something.
