The major cause of bad dog breath is from eating kibble. Most of this crap is heavily marketed and is garbage: Science Diet is the worst offender. Your vet will sell you this because they get a kick-back. My dog has been on a raw diet for 12 years and her teeth are sparkling clean and she has never had dog breath.

• And my dogs have been on kibble (Nutro) and have never had doggy breath. They get meat and veggies and treats as well as dry food.
