I like the pretty embroidered fabric, but the cut is all wrong.
I think it is beautiful.
I've definitely seen worse on others. It looks like something Michelle Obama would wear, less the 3/4 sleeve cardigan.
I like it.
Why are prints a big no-no on the red carpet?
It's the Producers Guild Awards, not an important occasion.
Since she'll be the center of attention at all the big red-carpet events this year, she wore something from the back of her closet to this.
I like the dress.
Rumor is that she's pregnant ... that's why she's wearing an empire waist.
I liked it - really glad to see someone not doing the beige-draped-over-one-shoulder or the black-slashed-to-the-knee-sheath dresses. So boring and predictable. Too many clones wandering about on red carpets looking like they've just stepped out of a costume fitting for a Greco-Roman tragedy.
If she got column inches then the dress did its job.
I actually like it as well. Floral against a black background is pretty classic (and boring), and the dress just turns up the colors and density a bit to stand out and give a fresher take.
It's a bit on the "loud" side, and it dominates and washes Anne out a bit, but it's really quite pretty. Better than wearing some unimaginative monochrome drapery.
