Shelley Hack: can't we fund her return?

There is that thing where people donate to fund independent films. We should all donate and bring her back.

• Shelley came from money and after acting devoted a lot of time to wise real estate investing. I can't think of anyone who the network powers tried to make a star and give more chances to than Shelley Hack. Not even Kate Mulgrew. SeaQuest, Fredrick Forsyth Presents, Jack and Mike, Cutter to Houston, Charlies Angels, Married the First Year, those are just the series she was given a lead in. Not to mention over 30 TV movies and theatrical movies. Plus there is a whole list of shit she turned down.

• You know she was genuinely good in The King of Comedy. How did Martin get that performance out of her? Did she just rise to DeNiro's level?

• Shelley with Annette O'Toole and DL fave Meredith Baxter-Birney. On stage in Vanities. She's pretty good and looks good with very long straight hair. Shelley is also a victim of one of those brilliant performances inside a shitty movie in If Ever I See You Again.
