How important is friendship to you?

Friendship is a bit like a status symbol to me. The more friends you have, the higher your status. I just want to hear what you guys think about this. How important are friends to you?

• It is perhaps one of the most important things in my life. My close friends are like family (should be)- supportive, loving, fun. Status has absolutely nothing to do with it.
