Weird Peccadillo

I don't want anyone in my house when I clean. I want the house to myself. Everybody out. I want quiet. I feel intruded upon when someone else is here. I will not clean. Is anyone else like this? Is there a name for this wacky neurosis?

• I'm like that OP. I cannot clean house while someone is in there making more messes. It's an exercise in futility. I can do dishes with people in the kitchen with me but it's hard to vacuum when someone is sitting on the couch watching tv.

• I have never seen my house actually cleaned. It just magically gets done every two weeks.

• I consider it to be a fault of mine. Nobody wants to leave the house, but I won't clean unless everyone gets out. isn't that a fault?
