The teaser about the inauguration on my local news focused on immigration and gay rights. That's what they're apparently going to highlight, and the tone was positive. I like that gay rights is one of the key take aways from the day/speech.

I you haven't seen it, you must sit down and watch it. Find the time. It's only 20 minutes of your life, but it's a great speech and one EVERY American should listen to. More than once.

Many of us had hoped that we would see a more confidently progressive President Obama in his 2nd term. His words are a definite step in this direction. He clearly knows it's legacy time now.
