Things you used to like that are now outdated...

What are some things that you used to like that are currently outdated? I just watched clips of Jack Nicholson as the joker back in the day...the guy was awful. Thank goodness for Heath Ledger. The character would be doomed a life of ugliness if it weren't for Heath Ledger (my hero).

• The Three Stooges...when I was really young, I loved them. I just saw an episode recently and cringed...

• Anal

• Bob Dylan. His music used to seem so deep, now it's just convoluted. At least I always realized that his voice stinks.

• Woody Allen movies. Sleeper was my favorite movie in grade-school, and as I matured so did his movies. I was a big fan up until the mid-80s, when his ok but mediocre movies started coming out. The Purple Rose of Cairo was the last one I saw in the theater. Now his movies mean nothing to me.

• OP, I have to disagree on Jack Nicholson as The Joker. I think he was awesome in the role. I think Ledger was great too, but it takes nothing away from Jack's classic performance.I can watch both Jokers and thoroughly enjoy them both.

• I didn't like Heath Ledger's performance as "Joker".

• Miami Vice. I used to love this show back in the day. Now when I watch it - so depressing.

• I liked Nicholson as the Joker. Most people my age (19) prefer Ledger. I think they were both epic. I loved Tim Burton's two Batman movies. I discovered them after I saw The Dark Knight in 2008. I found the old videotapes in my dad's mancave and watched them on an old tape machine he had. I thought Batman and Batman Returns were so epic that I went and bought the blurays. My dad and I watch them together every once in a while.

• AbFab. Loved loved loved it back in the day. The new series just seemed sad, and the old ones seem dated and the comedy forced. On the other hand, the ancient "Are You Being Served", that was always "old reruns" to me, still holds up as amusing.

• Graham Norton. I used to think he was funny back in the early 2000's, but now he just irritates me and I find his schtick tired and old.

• I remember being so mpressed with Interview with A Vampire when it first came out, and I saw it the other night and it was tedious and silly. I still think Kristen Dunst did a remarkable job as the little vampire girl, but the rest was laughable. Especially Antonio.

• Ski pants with stirrups. Awesome in the eighties. A favorites eighties look -- pleated shorts, tucked in shirt, belt, slouch socks and white sneakers. For the guys -- suits with white sneakers. David Lettermen started that fad.

• Campbell's Pork and Beans.

• South Park for the first five years.

• It's cute that R8 is pretending to be 19.

• Sitcoms from the 80's. They are so cringe worthy and lame now.

• Do you remember those long white socks that would come up to below your knees, and at the top would be some colored horizontal lines around the calves? I think they were supposed to be soccer socks, worn in the early 70s. Do you know where I can find them now?

• Nesquick - loved it in milk when I was a kid. Tried some recently. It was awful. Did they change it or did my taste change?
