Corey is only 31. He came out when he was 18 as a high school football captain. At the time, I was thinking to myself that he will have a ton of sex and I hope he will be careful.
Sadly, he became HIV+ at 22. In the NYTimes article(this weekend's NY section), he said it was a total shock to him. He had a routine test and it came back positive. Now 9 years later, he said he wants to be public about it and not live in secrecy.
