Is Airbus negotiating to buy Boeing?

Seems Airbus is behind many of the events troubling the Creamliner Boeing is trying to make fly safely. I wonder what the new company name might be?

• Boeing is the main positive part of America's trade balance. Lose that and the dollar will fall dramatically.

• I don't think either the US or European anti-trust folks would look kindly on such a merger.

• I think the Europeans would be very favorable to a Airbus takeover of Boeing. They'd shut down the US plants and move production to Europe. If they kept both operations going, I think the Carolina Boeing plant would be shut down since they have done such a shitty job on the Nightmare Liner.

• Boeing has an issue with lithium batteries. Once solved the plane will go on to lead the industry. Geez
