Asian people, I just can't relate to you.

I don't know if it's me or if it's your culture. The ones at work I admire and I'm very sympathetic when they struggle with English. English and Chinese are so different, and I applaud bilingual Asians. But as a rule, I don't get their lack of humor, ass-kissing ways, and boringness. And the food they bring for lunch stinks. They're not very helpful, either, even to help you dislodge paper from the copy machine.

• I don't get the whole worship of white guys that gay Asian men do. A friend wanted to bring me to an Asian bar one time and boy was that an experience. It was like hottest man alive walked into the room. They were pushing and shoving each other to get to talk to me. Buying me drinks, groping me. White expats in Tokyo and Hong Kong (and other places) only hang out within themselves. Very few try to learn the language. It's not even based on race even. I have read comments from African-American posters before about Asian-Americans disregarding their heritage and becoming "white-washed", and yet here we are, people complaining that they aren't integrating enough. • I've been working for the same insurance company for almost 15 years, and in that time I've worked with or known at least a couple of hundred Asian people. Every last one of them was partnered or married to another Asian. Every last one.

• Statistically for decades, Asians usually marry white Americans. Asian-Americans are the largest ethnic group in the US who marry outside of their race too. In Asia, bleaching cream is very popular and to have surgery on their eyes for "western" eyes as well. The surgery is also done in the US is very popular. On military bases the eye surgery is routine for Asian spouses. Look at the Manga characters, all round eyes. Most Asians are obsessed with the Caucasian culture. This is why "Tiger" moms have found a way for their kids to be smarter in school to compete against Caucasian students. Many American men who can't find dates in the US go where else to find some one? Asia. Now China has what is known as "baby tourism" where they send women to the US to have their babies to be American citizens then they fly back home. This is hugely popular now. The Ivy leagues accept a lot of Asian students. However, many of them pay big bucks for someone to take their SATs/ACTs and write their essys. Some Asians blew the whistle on this practice. However, the Ivies don't care as long as they get the cash. One family is suing a guy for over $1 million because they say he guaranteed them an Ivy league spot. It is a BIG business to get their kids in the best schools in America.

• Through work, I know five women from Taiwan who came here to California to have their babies. I'm told it's common occurence for them to do this. There are houses in L.A. set up just to cater to this practice. Families will have all their children born in Taiwan, except they all will chose one child that they fly over here to have. There are large numbers of anchor babies being born here. It's their way of invasion.

• I always read about how different East Asian ethnic groups are. I don't think so. There is slight variation between them but largely they are the same. That entire region was influenced by China largely and they are extremely close genetically compared to other racial groups. There are about 5-6 degrees the eyelids are "opened up." Practically every East Asian female star of the last 20 years has had this surgery. Surgery to create a straight nose instead of their natural bell shape is likely the second most common. East Asians also shave down their cheeks bones (yes, it's possible) and put in chin implants. Some will even have their jaw bones broken then reset to give a narrower appearance.

After a number of maneuvers designed to demean my job performance from the new company, we were nevertheless adjudged to be in the right.

• Let's for a moment talk about stereotypes and the power of anecdote, shall we? I have worked closely with nine Blacks - four from Oakland. Oakland Blacks? No issues, except they focus on drugs and violence. Good workers, fun to be with, honest and kind. Detroit Blacks? Dishonest, lazy, passive-aggressive, rude, condescending and false-faced. Incompetent. Non-entitities. All but one, and he was borderline and had table manners that made white trash look like the Royal Family. Meaning no cultural sensitivity to surroundings and norms. So what does this prove? Nothing. Except personal experience trumps your squealing every time. You cannot overwhelm experience with blithe screeches about fairness. People judge first by xenophobia (or the opposite - a bias towards the unfamiliar) and second by personal anecdotal experience. After all, if 12 million blacks are wonderful and I don't get to meet them, wouldn't I go with "Larry" who tried to carjack me? And, no. There's no reason to worsen things by using awful adjectives that are inhumane. But I'll point out examples for every one I used. Ultimately, none of us are going to get away from the fact that black people are a damaged, unhappy, materialistic, authoritarian, controlling race and that its people will reflect the unhealthy society in which they live.

• A white friend of mine at NYU has two Asian friends who act SO white it almost takes me aback when I'm around them. The female friend is an Elle Woods wannabe and the guy sounds like Aaron Rodgers. They want to be white so badly it's like they're ashamed of their heritage.
