Who will win the Oscar for Best Actress of 2012?

Please take my poll. Remember, please vote not for who you want to win, but who you think will actually win.

• This is a tight race--it could go to any of them, conceivably, even the little girl.

• The race is between Chastain and Lawrence and dramatic performances almost always beat comedic.

• Quvenzhane Wallis will be the surprise package at this year's ceremony.

• R3 = Roman Polanski

• Unfortunately Jessica Chastain will sail through the awards to Oscar when it should be Jennifer Lawrence.

• Jessica Chastain. Great actress but shouldn't even be nominated.

• By r2's logic, Emmanuelle Riva would be the clear winner. ZDT has received some heavy backlash, while Amour clearly is beloved by the Academy. I think Riva will win. The telecast is on her birthday, and she'll turn 86. Fellow Frenchman Dujardin will hand the trophy to her. It's also the best performance of the year, plus a historica win, and everybody will be happy.

• Riva's performance certainly deserves to win. Then again so does Trintignant's and he wasn't fucking nominated. Still, I think Riva will win.

• Everyone thinks it will be Jessica Chastain, but the surprise will be Jennifer Lawrence. Everyone loves a surprise at the Oscars, especially a good one!
