Friends show quit games when they're losing.

Do you have friends that do this? Be it sports or board games, or whatever, why is it the most the uber-competitive assholes who whine because they're losing and then find a way to weasel out of the game. I would expect this from a child but not a grown man. What the fuck is up with that? It's no better than cheating.
