• Ooh. I like it. Seriously.

• Why re-make it? No reason at all to re-do a classic.

• OP, Do you EVER take a break from posting to Datalounge? Ever?

• Why remake it? 1. Hollywood is very lazy and has run out of ideas/creative people. 2. Teens and twenty-somethings are afraid of "old" movies, so they have never seen the original.

• What's your problem r3? VOTN posts great threads and makes for good discussion. WTF are you complaining about?

• Newtown was scarier. This is just silly.

• The tagline "GOD WON'T HELP YOU" is just silly. I remember when AMC's Backstory did an episode of THE EXORCIST, and the filmmakers discussed the marketing. Originally, the studio heads wanted to sensationalize the movie with posters plastered with the tagline, "For God's Sake, Help Her!" Director William Friedkin hated it and fought the studio until cooler heads prevailed.
