The basic charge for girls back then (1980) was $250 (about $400 in today's money) and it went up depending on breast size, whether the breasts were natural, and sexual versatility. The girl "stars" would make $1200 an hour per 'date', though this was a small number of genuinely beautiful, sexually expert or kinky women. Two hours was a typical commitment johns made; and many johns from out of town made an evening of it, taking the girl for an expensive dinner, hitting a trendy club, then having the sex -- all of it on the clock.
Basic charge for "Boys" was $150 ($300 in today's money). This was for an hour and didn't extend to 'specials', kink for example, sex toys, partying. There's that letter of Nancy Mitford's which mentions being at a dinner part and one young man discarding his dinner jacket and shirt to reveal the ruby tassell hanging down his back with the words "Not bad for a working girl!"
