Those who refuse to admit that they are wrong...

Has anyone met one of these people. I just found solid evidence in the form of journal articles about a medication called "Airborne" that my mother uses to prove that it is in fact harmful to her (and at worst, no effect). She refuses to listen to me and says she will continue to use the product. I didn't say anything after that. How do you deal with people like her?
