R5, a few years ago in a famous thread, a question was raised why Daphne was seated next to Speilberg at an awards show. It was revealed that she earned that seat due to the fact she invented Blu Ray technology, cured several forms of cancer and ended female circumcision in Africa, among other things.
Oh Daphne was there, but she's in a long-term sado-masochistic relationship with Daniel Day Lewis and he had her playing the role of his footstool under the Spielberg table the whole evening. You could see her feet entangled with Kate Capshaw's if you knew where to look.
