• The opening was whip smart and perfectly delivered.

• I loved the opening monologue. It was indeed perfectly delivered.

• I loved it when Tina said something back to that awful Lena whatever her name is....

• What did she say, R4? Everyone hates Lena... Everyone but the NYers.

• That Kathryn Bigelow/James Cameron line was brilliant

• She said something like Tina got her through middle school. Tina later sarcastically repeated what Lena said...

• The Kathryn Bigelow/James Cameron joke was hilarious. It's fun to watch the crowd reaction. Bigelow had a big laugh out of it. Mel and Jodie, too.

• Yes and notice how Joaquin Phoenix tried to keep a blank face

• Yeah, I noticed, Rachel Weisz, too

• Rachel clearly thought the Cameron joke was pushing it. So did I. But it was hilarious. And if you are going to push it with a joke, make sure it in fact is hilarious.

• Those ladies gave a master class in comedy last night. Other peoples attempt at being funny failed, specially Sacha Baron, Wigg, Farrel, Leno, Fallon and the indian guy with Jason Bateman

• Tina looked especially good.

• Disagree R14 -- Wigg and Ferrell were a lot funnier than Leno, Fallon, Batemen, etc..

• I liked the whole Masshole/Boston bit with Affleck.We find out that Iran is friendlier than Boston to outsiders. Amy schools Affleck on humility in what she probably sounded like before she took elocution lessons. It's funny how they went after Cameron BUT not Mel Gibson. It would have been absolute fun to see Melvin go apeshit in front of everybody and call them some silly names. I thought they both looked cute,kinda doable is more like what I mean. Being a gay guy(slightly bi-curious),you'd think a funny girl wouldn't turn you on...BUT they did! A threesome with Tina and Amy would be a laugh a minute riot.
