Passing Glances

My favorite part of the gay classifieds used to be people who cruised one another but didn't manage to connect and put an ad in the paper later. It was so easy to imagine a stranger was looking for you to be the love of his life. Is this yet another relic or a bygone age that has passed into oblivion?
