Might be worth thirteen or fourteen million, taking into account inflatiion, and the still red hot real estate market in Manhattan. No way they are getting anywhere close to twenty-four million.

My guess is that the formal dining room upstairs is only used for entertaining, and that that entertaining would be catered, thus the small kitchen upstairs, which is sufficient for the caterers to unpack and heat up what they need to.
