Only 8% of Americans now say they are members of the Tea Party. 49% of voters have an unfavorable view of the party, 30% have a favorable view. And most precious of all: 36% of Americans have a favorable view of socialism!

• Since they were nothing but the contemporary version of radical royalists, funded by the Koch bros and their ilk, they were doomed the minute everyone figured out they were the opposite of a true "tea party" movement.

And, as nihilistic, obtuse ideologues, will continue to act as agents of chaos and obstruction for as long as they are in office. The only game changer I can see is if they shut down gov't over the debt ceiling and trigger a world-wide economic meltdown. In which case, I wouldn't be surprised if their heads end up on spikes.
