Vermont Teacher Threatens School, Turns In Bushmaster Rifle Before Being Committed
Yeah, NRA, arm all the teachers. Really smart move.

- Some of our teachers were nutcases, I have no doubt that they'd have been happy to take out the troublemakers.
- We'll need to arm the children, to keep them safe from their teacher.
NRA
- WW @ r2!
- This is what comes from the 24/7 grief porn that every station showed for a week after what happened in CT. Loonies see stuff like that and they want to go out in a blaze of glory, too. We should be banning guns and refraining from making the loonietoons look important. To the crazies out there, these a-holes look like heros. They want to be talked about for weeks after they are gone just like the ones that have done this before.
Stop sensationalizing these horrible incidents. It just gives the other nutters evil ideas.
- This morning, up in Glendale (to the north of LA), someone called in a bomb threat to an elementary school and 880 kids had to be evacuated and picked up by their parents.
One mother arrived and asked what was happening (they didn't tell the parents about the bomb in the notification calls), and the teachers kept insisting it was only a drill. The mom then asked why there were so many cops around.

- Why would it be a drill when parents are called to pick kids up? Silly.
- Shouldn't we be looking into why mass killings have increased with the rise of ant-psychotic drugs ?
The 60s had far fewer mass killings an no gun control.
- Nice try, R7.

We also had a functional mental health system.
And the first generation of anti-psychotic drugs were pretty much on the market by the early 60s. Some are even older. Thorazine was invented in the 30s.
