When porn couples attack: Phillip Aubrey went to jail for knifing Spencer Reed

Does anyone know about all this? They've done a number of scenes together where the darker, bearded and much more muscular Reed dominated, tied up, and even tortured the blond and slighter Aubrey onscreen. But apparently that's not the way things went down with the couple in real life: some time this summer Aubrey, in a drunken rage, cut Reed's bicep down to the muscle, requiring 27 stitches. Reed now has a horrible scar there. Aubrey was found guilty in October of assault and possessing a deadly weapon and was sentenced to two years' probation; they have since broken up, and Reed says he was constantly battered and assaulted in his relationship with Aubrey. I never saw this reported here and was amazed, since onscreen Reed is about twice Aubrey's physical side and always has been the brutal dominator in their kinky sex scenes.

• The freak had already attacked Reed a few years earlier, biting him on the face and neck. That's why Reed started wearing the beard, but you could still see the scars where he'd been bit. I'm sorry, but there really wasn't any excuse not to turn him in the first time. A violent psycho like that should have an arrest record, and maybe Reed could've gotten a restraining order too. The psycho came back for more because he didn't have any repercussions the first time.

I doubt Aubrey's ridiculous story that Reed just scraped against something, but I also doubt that Reed never crossed any lines in his S&M relationship with Aubrey (I've heard other people say on the Internet that Reed is a very angry and violent sexual partner).
