Harriet Olsen (Little House) or Corabeth Godsey (The Waltons) Who was the bigger snob?
Corabeth was snooty, but she had more heart than Harriet and was not as materialistic, so Harriet gets my vote.
Harriet was a baseless snob
Yes. Yes! YES!!
Harriet's my girl. Love that woman. Scotty McGregor was awesome in that role. Love her, love her, love her.
Who would have thought Ronnie Claire Edwards was so unpopular with the DL crowd?
Oh, I don't think she's at all "unpopular" with them, r6. But her character was far more thoughtful and nuanced than Harriet, who was, although very fun, pretty one dimensional-- a snob, period. There was more to Corabeth. So if we're strictly judging on snobbery, of course Harriet "wins."
