Anyone ever heard of this one-man band? The music is like a cross between Prince and Morrissey. Singer George Lewis Jr is a hottie. The video for the song "Slow" is kind of like one of those skeevy, porn-ish Calvin Klein ads.

• Sure thing, R1! I don't think he's gay, but he may be bi, R2. His 2010 album "Forget" is chock full of '80s-sounding jams. I love his hair and thighs in this video

• I saw him at a free show in a furniture store a couple of weeks ago. I stumbled across it completely by chance on my way home from work and I'd feel ashamed for being so totally taken by a promotional stunt for a car brand if I thought there was any chance of me buying a Mini Cooper in this lifetime. This video doesn't really do it justice, he's pretty good live.

• Really great talent who deserves to be heard outside of the Pitchfork pocket universe. A true crossover artist but also an original. This is no Prince 2.0.
