- Haha, I never knew there was a name for this! My siblings and I always called it Black Preachers' Thumb, because we grew up in the AA church of the 50s-early 80s; and a good 90% of the hundreds of preachers we saw, had it. We thought it was creepy, odd, and hilarious.

The joints where my thumbs attach to my hands are weird too, almost double-jointed and definitely odd.
