• I have loved him on stage in Next to Normal and the musical of Saved at Playwrights Horizons where he showed enormous charisma and talent but he was really disappointing in Catch Me if You Can. Not sure why, though it would certainly be easy to blame the lame direction and material. Still, I would have thought Aaron could rise above it. Maybe he was just miscast...he is really too wholesome and adorable to naturally play the scheming bad boy required of the Frank Abagnale. He was certainly miscast in Les Miz, where he looked too young and innocent to be the student leader Enjolras. Again, the role requires more bad boy than Aaron naturally possesses. And his wig made him look rather dowdy and unprepossessing compared to all the other sexy student revolutionaries. He sang it well, though. I hope he comes through on his new TV series.

• R63 Time Warner Cable. LOL sorry if you will be slightly disappointed for they chose an angle such that what you mostly see is the flip-flop rather than his feet. But, well. The story's set in a beach house in Southern California, so there are plenty of scenes with flip-flops, bare feets, wet suits, surfing, you name it. His co-stars are very hot as well. I'm loving this show.

• Is anybody going to one of his 54 below concerts? The box office was obviously swamped by all those fan girls (and boys), online system was down, tix sold out in seconds literally. I also tried to get tix from some friends in industry who have some connections. No avail. I am kind of surprised by how popular he is now. Also, Norm Lewis and Bill O'Reilly were in the audience the first night (5/3?), which I think is weird and interesting.

I walked past 54 below yesterday afternoon around 6pm and there were a few people waiting already. I don't know how that worked out in the end. If you are really interested, might as well try it.

• Comcast and Time Warner are competing cable companies - NOT THE SAME AT ALL. Aaron's concert was recorded and will be out in due course - music only, though. If they were smart, they'd release it on video.

• As far as I know, they did have the pilot preview available on both Comcast and Time Warner VOD, as well as other carriers. But alas, that is past tense now. Agree that they should release it on video. I would buy that! LOL.
