I quit smoking years ago after a few decades of regular smoking. I had the telltale yellow tar and nicotine stain on the fingers that held my cigarettes, but this stain faded years ago. I've noticed that a few times a year I slough off skin in this area on one of my fingers. It's like a sunburn peel -- just the outer layers of epidermis. The skin peels off painlessly more or less as a sheet. Any other former smokers experience this? Should I make arrangements for someone to come get my stuff?
