• OP, can you read? You can still be a stalker and send an email to someone you're not friends with. The $1 just lands it in their inbox (as opposed to the "other" file).

• Why are you spamming people you don't know, OP? Your headline is beyond misleading btw. I can message my friends on Facebook unlimited times without charge, as always. However, if you want to contact someone you don't personally know on Facebook (and who would want to do that, and why?) then you get charged. Because that would be SPAM.
